Gas monitoring: Industry application

Industry

Innovative safety solutions for industrial applications such as:
Refineries, hazardous material storage facilities, sewage treatment plants

Typical gases and vapors produced are, for example:: H2S, CH4, CO, O2, xylene, alcohol, toluene.

The simple and clear ATEX KIMESSA gas monitoring system for Ex zones 1 and 2 measures uncontrolled gas concentrations. Gas leaks caused by ageing and vibrations on fittings are detected at an early stage. The alarm organization of the CANline system stops the gas supply, switches on the ventilation and alerts the endangered zone.

The explosion zone determines the design of the sensor. The KSP 121 Ex is used for zone 2. For zone 1, the explosion-proof gas sensor GSPM121 Ex (pellistor) or the GSIM 1100 Ex (infrared) is used.

To signal the gas alarm, the control panel triggers the flashing light and the alarm horn. The flashing light and alarm horn must be installed near the danger zone so that the safety officer can act with caution.

Touch displays can be mounted at the entrance of the entrance to visualize and quickly check the gas monitoring data. Of course, all measurement data and events are recorded and can therefore be tracked and analyzed at any time.

The plug'n play web server CWS 101 "Easylog" visualizes the gas concentrations in real time in the computer network, and e-mails can be sent to the responsible employees in the event of events such as alarms or faults.

Industrial signaling - KIMESSA

The explosion zone determines the design of the gas detector. For zone 2, the KSP 130 Ex (pellistor) is used, for zone 1 the explosion-protected gas detector GSPM 130 Ex (pellistor) or the GSIM 1100 Ex (infrared).
The control panel triggers the flashing lights and alarm horns to signal the gas alarm. The flashing lights and alarm horns must be installed close to the danger zone to ensure that the danger zone is entered with caution.

Touch displays can be installed at the entrance to the monitored rooms to visualize and quickly check the gas monitoring data.

All measurement data and events are recorded and can be traced and analyzed at any time.

With the plug'n play web server CWS 101 "Easylog", gas concentrations can be visualized in real time in a computer network. In the event of alarm events or faults, silent alarms can be sent to the responsible employees by e-mail.

Our Ex gas measurement transmitters are made of aluminum or stainless steel, are extremely robust and have protection class IP 65 (waterproof and dustproof).

All gas detection transmitters are available as analog, BUS or Ex gas detection transmitters. KIMESSA's warning technology offers solutions such as BUS combination messages with a built-in display, which are installed in front of or in the danger zones and provide both visual and audible alarms (type CWED 68). LED warning lights and horns can also be integrated into the BUS, which saves a considerable amount of cable.

In addition, a wide range of accessories is available, such as emergency power supplies, water protection caps and ram protection.

In addition to the applications described, there are numerous other areas of use for KIMESSA gas monitoring systems. As a total solution provider in the field of gas warning technology and gas detection, we offer a solution for practically every requirement in stationary gas warning technology. We present you with technically advanced gas monitoring systems that you can rely on at all times.

Because your safety is our priority!

Modern society lives and works with toxic and flammable gases and vapors on a daily basis. Today, gas is an economical, technical and indispensable medium, but can suddenly become a major hazard if left unchecked.
