Gas monitoring: Application heaters

Heating

Modern society lives and works with toxic and flammable gases and vapors on a daily basis. Today, gas is an economical, technical and indispensable medium, but can suddenly become a major hazard if left unchecked.

Heating application - KIMESSA

Gas monitoring in heating centers

Typical gases produced in heating centers are: Methane CH4 and propane C3H8.

The simple and clear gas warning system alerts you to uncontrolled gas concentrations. Gas leaks caused by ageing and vibrations on fittings are detected at an early stage. The alarm system can stop the gas supply, close the solenoid valve, switch off the burner, switch on the ventilation and alert the zone at risk.

The explosion zone determines the design of the gas measuring transmitter. The KSP / KSPC / PSPC (pellistor) is used for zone 2. The GSxM Ex explosion-proof gas measurement transmitter (available in two sensor technologies, pellistor or infrared) is used for Zone 1.
Touch displays can be installed at the entrance to the monitored rooms for visualization and rapid monitoring of gas concentrations.

All measurement data and events are recorded and can be traced and analyzed at any time.

To signal the gas alarm, the control panel triggers a flashing light and/or a horn. In most cases, the flashing light, which is installed near the danger zone, is sufficient to prompt safety personnel to act with caution. The alarm horn is mainly used in the industrial sector.

The KIMESSA systems with control panel, gas measuring transmitter and signal transmitters offer comprehensive safety and correct measurement.

In addition to the applications described, there are numerous other areas of use for KIMESSA gas monitoring systems. As a total solution provider in the field of gas warning technology and gas detection, we offer a simple to highly complex solution for practically every requirement in stationary gas warning technology.
